Orb-3 Lake & Pond Dry Bacteria is a blend of beneficial bacteria selected for managing backyard swimming and fishing ponds. It is a superior mixture of microbes that includes water clarifiers and speedy sludge degraders. This product safely augments existing pond bacteria; consumes excess nutrient in the water column; and causes the natural degradation of organic wastes. Orb-3 Lake & Pond Dry Bacteria is cultured on a bran carrier. It is all-natural, pathogen free and safe for fish, plants, pets and people. Apply 9 lbs./acre-foot initially; then 1½ lbs./acre-foot weekly when water temperatures are above 50° F.
